Bill Peters, Senior Pastor

Bill Peters became the pastor of First Baptist Church, House Springs, in April of 2006. Previously he served as the pastor of Westview Baptist Church in Chanute, Kansas for nine years. Bill grew up in Missouri in a pastor’s home and was saved when he was eight years old. He was licensed to preach in 1993 and ordained to the Gospel ministry in 1996. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Jewell College and a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

David joined the ministry staff at First Baptist Church on January 4, 2009. His love for the Lord and enthusiasm to lead others to Christ has brought him to the House Springs area. He is willing to spend time with the youth in fun activities but his main focus is to teach them to become stronger Christians. He graduated from Williams College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas with a degree in education majoring in Physical Education and a minor in Science.
